Leander-Area Man Dies After Ex-Wife Allegedly Stabs Him
Samuel Robert Sharp, 31, of Leander is said to have forced his entry into ex-wife's home in the 22000 block of Cold Spring Drive on Friday.

LEANDER, TX — Sheriff's officials are investigating the death of a Leander man who allegedly broke into his ex-wife's home before being stabbed, officials said Saturday.
The incident occurred just past noon on Friday along the 22000 block of Cold Spring Drive, Travis County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kristen Dark said in a press advisory. The caller stated her ex-husband forced himself into her home before she stabbed him, prompting him to leave.
Deputies located the injured man while medics with Austin-Travis County EMS performed life-saving measures. Those resuscitation efforts proved futile, however, and the man was pronounced dead at 12:52 p.m., according to the sheriff's office report.
