The event is scheduled Friday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Hill Country Bible Church in Leander. The scheduled talk, "African Americans in the Times of War," will be presented by State Rep. Nicole Collier, the District 95 representative in Fort Worth, Texas Diner will begin at 6 p.m., with the keynote starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 each, $2 for those under the age of 18. Along with dinner, door prizes will be given out, organizers said.
