Leander Police Called In To Investigate After High School Graffiti Threatens Violence
The scrawled message found in a bathroom said that there would be violence occurring at Rouse High School on Oct. 12.

LEANDER, TX -- Police continue to investigate after some threatening graffiti was spotted in a Rouse High School bathroom earlier this week, according to school officials.
The graffiti writer indicated that violence would occur at the school on Oct. 12, the Austin American-Statesman reported. The missive was discovered on Tuesday, prompting police to investigate further in an attempt to identify the culprit.
“This incident is being taken seriously by the Leander Police Department, and an investigation has been launched to locate the individual that is responsible for making this threat," police said in a prepared statement. "Leander police will continue to work closely with school officials until this investigation is complete.”

Police urge anyone with information as to who might have issued the threat to notify them. Leander police can be reached at (512) 528-2800. Anonymous tips can also be sent to the police by texting the number 847411. Type the keyword LPDTIP, then adding a space and typing the information.
