Leander Police Search For Shooting Suspect
Juvenal Cruz-Herrera, 42, is alleged to have shot his girlfriend's brother in the shoulder during some kind of dispute.

LEANDER, TX -- Police continue searching for the a man wanted in connection to a Sunday evening shooting.
Police said Juvenal Cruz Herrrera, 42, is tied to a shooting that occurred on Dove Song Drive, located off West South Street, according to KVUE-TV. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
The victim was taken to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center with injuries not believed to be life-threatening ones.

Police describe Cruz-Herrera as six feet tall, weighing about 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light-colored, button-up short, blue jeans and cowboy boots.
Police told the Austin-American Statesman the inciden appears to be related to some sort of family squabble. The man Cruz-Herrea is alleged to have shot is his girlfriend's brother, 49-year-old Norman Retherford.

Police also said Herrera-Cruz may have wounds on his face and hands.
