Leander Police Seek Owner Of Two Lost Pet Snakes

Reptiles found near the 3000 block of Lakeline Boulevard are a 2.5 foot ball python and a 15-inch Kenyan Sand Boa.

LEANDER, TX — Police are seeking the owner of a pair of pet snakes found slithering outside their home.

On their Facebook page, the Leander Police Department showed the snakes, one a ball python measuring 2.5 feet in length and the other a Kenyan Sand Boa that is 15 inches long. The pets were found near the 3000 block of Lakeline Boulevard this week, police said.

Anyone with information as to who the snakes belong to is urged to call Leander Animal Services at (512) 528-2800.
