Leander Police Seek Sexual Assault Suspect

Detectives on Wednesday released a sketch of the alleged perpetrator in the hopes someone might recognize him and alert the authorities.

LEANDER, TX — Police are seeking help from the public to identify and locate a suspect in an alleged sexual assault said to have occurred last month.

The Leander Police Department on Wednesday issued a press advisory with a sketch of the suspect in the hopes somebody might recognize him and alert detectives. The incident occurred on Monday, Aug. 16, at the 22 North Apartments, 149 S. Bagdad Rd.

Police described the suspect as a white male between the ages of 25-30 with a medium build and standing at five feet, ten inches in height while weighing about 195 pounds. No further details were released.
