LEANDER, TX -- The running track and stadium facility at the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park in Leander will be closed for maintenance beginning Monday until March 21.Sorry, fitness aficionados.The track/running facility, located at 3005 CR 175 in Leander, will be closed for repairs and maintenance. Work includes sealing cracks and repairing the rubber track. "The public is asked to refrain from accessing the track and stadium facility while the work is being done," county officials said in an advisory.Perhaps, for the time being, you fitness aficionados might take your running outdoors (see attached photo) in an idyllic setting such as fronting a body of water with the sun's early rays reaching the Earth with splendor as we at Patch do to start our day.
