Leander School District Offering Free Summer Meals For Kids 18 And Under
Parents who want to join their children can't eat for free like them, but can buy breakfast for only $2 and lunch for a mere $3.

LEANDER, TX -- Community members served by Leander ISD can take advantage of the summer food program that will provide free meals for youth 18 years and under who rely on the low-cost meals during regular school calendar days.
The free summer lunch program is co-sponsored by Leander ISD and the Texas Department of Agriculture, school officials said. The program will be offered at five locations through July 29, with food served Monday through Friday.
The program kicked off on June 6.

The meal program will service the following areas:
- Camacho Elementary, 501 Municipal Dr. in Leander
- Cypress Creek Apartments, 2101 S. Lakeline Blvd. in Cedar Park
- Running Brushy Middle School, 2303 N. Lakeline Blvd. in Cedar Park
- Twin Lakes Fellowship, 1150 S. Bell Blvd. in Cedar Park
- Reed Elementary, 1515 Little Elm Trail in Cedar Park
Breakfast will be served at Reed Elementary from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. and at all other sites from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at all sites from noon-1 p.m. Click HERE to view the menu (En español)
All children under the age of 18 are welcome, officials said. Families are not required to attend LISD or be residents of area apartment complexes. and parents don’t need to apply to the program.

"They can simply bring their child to a summer meals site and their children will receive the free meals," school officials said. "Adults over the age of 18 may purchase breakfast for $2 and lunch for $3 at all summer feeding sites."
