WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County District Clerk Lisa David recently garnered a high honor as District Clerk of the Year for the State of Texas, officials announced Tuesday.
The award was presented to her at the 123rd Annual County and District Clerk Association (CDCAT) Conference. This award is bestowed for outstanding and distinguished service by a district clerk. David has been the district clerk of Williamson County for the past 12 years and has been employed by the district clerk’s office for 37 years.
“I am very honored to have received this award from my peers across the state,” David said in a prepared statement. “I want to share this award with my family and staff. If it were not for their support, I could not serve in the manner I do for Williamson County and this great State of Texas.”
