More Than 2,600 Households Without Power In Cedar Park Amid Storms
Pedernales Electric Cooperatve officials say they've sent crews out to fix the issue, but it could take up to two hours for repairs.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- More than 2,600 homes are without power in Cedar Park amid a significant weather advisory in the region, officials said.
Pedernales Electric Cooperative officials said more than 2,600 meters are without power as a result of the inclement weather. Crews have been dispatched to fix the outage, but the repair work is expected to take up to two hours to fix, utility officials said.
The National Weather Service issued a weather advisory for the southwestern portions of Travis and central Hays counties earlier. The advisory was only in effect until 5 p.m. given the formation of strong thunderstorms moving in at about 25 mph, but the system has left behind evidence of its arrival in Cedar Park where the thousands of residents await for power to be restored.
