New Coronavirus Cases Up To 328 in WilCo, No New Deaths

According to a Williamson County and Cities Health District dashboard, 47 people have been hospitalized since illness broke out.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The number of new coronavirus cases in Williamson County grew by five over the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 328. No new deaths were reported, keeping the fatality level at 10.

The upgraded count was updated by the Williamson County and Cities Health District on a data-filled dashboard updated dailly. To date, 47 people have been hospitalized, according to the dashboard. The number of those hospitalized for the respiratory illness is one more than had been previously recorded.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The number of new coronavirus cases in Williamson County grew by 17 on Sunday to 323. No new deaths were reported.

According to a data-filled dashboard created by the Williamson County and Cities Health District, 46 people have been hospitalized since the outset of respiratory illness. Another 28 patients have been admitted into intensive care units, according to the data dashboard. Officials noted that 17 patients have been put on ventilators.

On a more hopeful note, the dashboard data indicate no new deaths were reported on Sunday, and 186 people have recovered from the illnesss. To date, 10 people in Williamson County have died of the ailment.

Last week was a particularly grim one for Williamson County. On Friday, the 10th patient to die was described as a man in his 60s who resided in a nursing home. The fatality marked the fifth death in the county since the previous Sunday.
