Tuesday -- That's Today, Folks -- Is Last Day To Register To Vote In Upcoming Presidential Election

The historic election pits Democrat Hillary Clinton against Republican Donald Trump, but you probably already know about this.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX -- Attention procrastinators who haven't registered to vote in the upcoming Nov. 8 election: It's not too late, but today is the last day to be eligible to cast a ballot in the upcoming Presidential Election.

In anticipation of the final day to register, the Williamson County Elections Office will be open until 9 p.m. today, Oct. 11. The Williamson County Inner Loop Annex Elections Department is located at 301 S.E. Inner Loop, Suite 104, in Georgetown.

The deadline comes amid robust registration ahead of the historic presidential election pitting Democrat Hillary Clinton against Republican Donald Trump. In Travis County, voting officials have exceeded their voter registration goals.

But Williamson County aren't slouches in the voter registration department. As of Aug. 31, there were more than 293,000 registered voters in the county, officials said.

In Williamson County, there are 88 voter precincts, 24 elected officials at the county level, 100 at the city level and 110 within the school districts.
