Parts Of Leander Under Boil Water Notice After Main Break
Water main break on Bagdad Road near Osage Drive prompts water-boiling directive to Leander High School, Cedar Ridge Apartments, others.
LEANDER, TX — A boil water notice was issued for Leander High School, Cedar Ridge Apartments, Shops at Leander complex, as well as homes and businesses along Blueline Drive following a water main break on Tuesday.
City officials were unable to provide an approximate time as to the full restoration of water services. Crews were forced to shut off and repair a large water main break on Bagdad Road near Osage Drive in Leander late Tuesday morning.
The main break altered many academic activities:

- Students at Leander High School were dismissed at 1:30 p.m. due to the water issue. The school said bottled water was available for students to drink.
- Football practice was moved to Running Brushy Middle School and the volleyball game against Anderson High School was moved to the other school.
- Band practice and other after school activities were canceled for the day at the two latter schools.
