Police Investigate Cedar Park Woman's Sexual Assault

Austin driver drove woman home after she was found wearing only shoes and undergarments on July 13, and police want to talk to that person.

AUSTIN, TX — Police are seeking help from the public in connection to a sexual assault case.

The incident is estimated to have occurred between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on July 13, according to a police advisory issued on Friday. Police said a woman in her late 20s was forced out of a pickup truck at an unknown location, presumed to have been with the city limits of Austin, wearing only her shoes and undergarments.

The victim was able to make contact with a person driving a small to mid-size SUV who drover her back to her Cedar Park home, police said. Police now are trying to locate this individual for details related to their investigation.
