Police Seek Public's Help In Finding Missing Teen

Nina Marie Castillo, 17, ran away from her parents' home in January and hasn't been seen since.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a teenaged runaway who has been missing since mid-January.

The Cedar Park Police Department said Nina Marie Castillo, 17, ran away from her parents home Jan. 18. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a gray long-sleeved shirt with an image of a girl emblazoned on it, along with the word “Live” on the front of the garment.

She also was carrying a black and gray back with a pink zipper.

While legally considered an adult with the choice of staying or leaving her parents’ home, police said they still would like for her to reach out to ensure her family of her safety.

They are urging her to call (512) 260-4600, extension 0.

Anyone who might have information about her whereabouts and well-being are being urged to call (512) 260-4704 or send an email to ricky.pando@cedarparktexas.gov.

“They may also submit an anonymous tip by texting the keyword CPPD and the tip to 847411,” police wrote. “Oor using the CPPD Tips app available for download. Please reference Case #1601-0266 in the communication.”

Castillo is 5’ 3” tall and weighs 110 lbs.
