Portion Of Leander Highway Closed After Crash

LEANDER, TX — A portion of U.S. 183 frontage road at FM 2241 will likely be likely be closed until noon Monday following an early morning traffic collision, according to Leander police.

The northbound lanes of the highway intersection were closed after a semi-trailer crashed, causing to contents of the vehicle to spill out onto the roadway. The site is northwest of Austin, in Williamson County.
Crews are currently at the scene clearing the roadway of debris. It's unclear what the truck was carrying before its contents spilled.
