Possible Carjacking At Cedar Park HEB Reported
Incident is said to have occurred Saturday in parking lot at 2800 E. Whitestone Blvd. near Parmer Lane.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Police are investigating after a family says it was carjacked in the HEB parking lotin Cedar Park, according to reports that surfaced on Monday.
Cedar Park Police spokeswoman Alicia Inns confirmed details of the incident via email. The incident occurred at around 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, at 2800 E. Whitestone Blvd. near Parmer Lane. The male suspect supposedly approached a family in the parking lot of the store while demanding they exit their car before fleeing in the vehicle, Inns confirmed.
Police have not said if a suspect has been identified. "There are no injuries reported, and at this time we do not believe the suspect had a weapon," she added in response to questions from Patch. "Right now, that is all I can confirm as the case is under investigation," she added. "If I get any more information, I will let you know."
