Public Invited To Give Input On Williamson County Parks Plan
In a series of meetings — including one April 4 in Cedar Park — residents will be able to provide feedback on WilCo Parks Master Plan.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The public is invited to give input on the WilCo Parks Master Plan during a series of upcoming community meetings.
County officials previously developed a comprehensive park master plan in 2001 and last updated it in 2008, county officials said. The plan guides the county regarding park and trail development, parkland and open space acquisition and in obtaining grants. The new plan will help guide future direction for the department and the county, officials said in a press advisory.
“This year is the fifteenth anniversary of Williamson County parks and a very appropriate time for us to review our master plan and update it,” Randy Bell, senior director of the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department, said in a prepared statement. “We want to listen to our community and provide our residents with the types of parks, trails and open space experiences that add quality to their lives.”

Individuals, citizen groups, and businesses are encouraged to give their input regarding the future of Williamson County parks, trails and open spaces at these meetings.
Scheduled for next month, the meetings include:
