CEDAR PARK, TX — It may have escaped your notice, what with your harried lives and summer vacation travel plans, but the Quarry Splash Pad at Southwest Regional Park recently opened for the summer season.

That's right, the popular aquatic fixture opened on Saturday, May 18, somewhat quietly and without a big splashy announcement (sorry) of any kind. It now will be be open through summer from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., city officials said on a municipal website.

It's a wonderful way to gain relief from the summer heat, and the kiddos love it. For more information, including how to make reservations, call the Parks Office at (512)943-1920.
