Repair Work On CR 280 In Leander Starts Tuesday

Refurbishing on nearly 400 feet of roadway will reduce traffic to a single lane, with work expected to take up to three weeks.

LEANDER, TX — Repair work on a portion of CR 280 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 22, and last through June, city officials said.

The refurbishing is on about 380 feet of the roadway, officials said. Officials said the work should take three weeks, weather permitting. City crews will excavate the roadway in halves to allow for one lane of traffic during construction, city officials noted.

Officials urge motorists who normally drive on the artery to plan their route accordingly, and heed all traffic construction signs.
