Stock Up On Summer Reading At The Leander Used Bookstore

Get yer read on at this town jewel while contributing to a worthy cause.

LEANDER, TX -- With summer virtually upon us, you might want to stock up on books to get your read on. In so doing, you might consider something of a well-kept secret: The Leander Library Foundation's used bookstore at the library.

Library officials have a description of the place on the municipal website.

"There, you'll find many unique books, as well as audio books and videocassettes that have been donated by community members," officials say. "Run by volunteers, the bookstore is open five days a week and all proceeds go to purchase materials and fund programs for the Leander Public Library."
