Taylor Tax Office Sets New Hours Of Operation
Change adjusts business hours of the tax office in Taylor so they are in line with other three in Williamson County, officials explained.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS — The Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collectors office in Taylor has new hours, officials announced on Monday.
The office at 412 Vance St. started operating at its new hours on Monday, Oct. 29. In order to better serve the public and reduce compensatory time, officials said, the Tax Assessor/Collector's Office will implement the following hours of operation:
- Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The change adjusting business hours of the tax office in Taylor was done so they are in line with other three sites in Williamson County, officials explained. Tax assessor/collector offices which have used this operating schedule since February 2017, officials added.

“We have found this schedule offers more flexibility for taxpayers while mitigating comp time for Tax Assessor/Collector staff,” Larry Gaddes, Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector, said in a prepared statement.
