Thanksgiving Week Events Abound In Cedar Park And Leander

CEDAR PARK, TX -- With the outset of another holiday season beginning next week, and you may be wondering what to do. Most kids will be off from school for the week and its easy to see why it can all become a bit overwhelming. Luckily, the communities of Cedar Park and Leander have great events and activities planned for its residents to help ease some of the holiday worry. MONDAY, NOV. 20

• Family Coloring At The Leander Public Library: Come out and enjoy a relaxing day of Family Coloring on Monday, Nov. 20 from 9 AM - 4 PM. The Leander Public Library hosts its weekly event and invites families to participate. Materials provided including crayons, colored pencils, markers, coloring sheets and plenty of blank paper. • Thanksgiving Camp: Mindworx Enrichment is hosting its Thanksgiving Break Camps on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Nov. 20-22 from 9 AM - 5:30 PM. This is a great opportunity for kids to keep busy and active as school's out next week. Parents and caregivers have the choice of enrolling their child in a full day or part day camp. Activities will include making pumpkin pie, playing Oregon Trail in Minecraft, making homemade holiday potpourri, and spending time outdoors playing scarecrow tag, cosmic dodge ball and more!
