- According to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, P. Terry's will be expanding with a new Cedar Park location. P. Terry's is an Austin-based fast food community favorite that will be located at 825 W. Whitestone Blvd. The new location will cost $1.2 million to build and they will be offering $15 an hour for full-time employees. (KVUE.com)
- Music artist and global pop icon Paulina Rubio will be visiting Cedar Park to promote her new hit track and her branded tequila. You can listen to her hit 'Yo Soy' and try her tequila 'Get Hot Tequila' before she visits Cedar Park this Spring. - At a Tuesday night meeting, the Leander City Council has voted to hold a special election to determine if the city will be separating ties with Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The special election will be on May 7 and will determine if the one percent sales tax imposed on Leander residents will continue.
