Tree of Angels Scheduled To Honor Victims Of Violent Crime In Williamson County
The annual event is an opportunity for reflection as members of the public place ornament on county Christmas tree.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — County officials invite the public to attend the upcoming 4th Tree of Angels this week to honor victims of violent crime.
The event is scheduled to take place Thursday, Dec. 8 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Williamson County Courthouse Annex, District Attorney's Office. The site is located at 405 Martin Luther King St. on the second floor in Georgetown.
"This moving event allows the community to remember families whose lives have forever been touched by violent crime," county officials said in a prepared statement. "Families, survivors of a violent crime, families with missing loved one and friends of a victim are invited to bring an angel ornament to place on this Christmas tree."

Officials further noted the event yields a community-wide reflection of the community, including families of homicide victims, law enforcement, state, c ounty and local victim service agencies.
The Christmas Tree will stay lit in the District Attorney’s Office throughout the holiday season, officials added.
