Two Bodies Found Near Leander Not Suspicious, Sheriff Says (Updated)
Bodies were found inside home along Spotted Eagle Drive, but sheriff's office has not provided any more details.

LEANDER, TX — The deaths of two people found inside a home near Leander on Sunday were not ruled suspicious, although an autopsy is pending, officials said.
The bodies were found Sunday inside a home along Spotted Eagle Drive, according to Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody. But the sheriff has declined to provide details into the deaths, including the ages or genders of the deceased.
A subsequent statement by the sheriff's office suggested that there is no danger to the public connected to the two deaths. The bodies were found inside the home near Cedar Park just before 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Editor's note: This story has been revised to reflect that the location of the home in which the bodies were found is not in Leander proper but located in the Block House Municipal Utility District outside the city limits. "These districts are unusual in that they have their own unique tax assessments, which make them separate and distinct from a typical incorporated city," Mike Neu, public information officer for Leander, said. "That’s why Williamson County Sheriff's [Office], not Leander Police, responded to this incident in your story."
