Two People Die In Leander After Car Hits Tree Early Saturday Morning
Police found a man and a woman dead inside a Kia after receiving a report about the wreck at around 3:35 a.m.

LEANDER, TX — Two people were killed in a one-vehicle collision in Leander that involved a car hitting a tree on Saturday, Leander police said.
Police were called to the 2900 block of Hero Way after a passerby called police at 3:35 a.m. to report the crash. Police said on their Facebook page they're unsure when the accident occurred, but a man and a woman were found dead in the Kia car by the time they arrived.
Police said the car was traveling west on Hero Way, a two-lane rural road, when it left the artery into a ditch on the north side of the street before losing control of the vehicle, careening across both lanes of traffic and striking the tree on the south side of the roadway.
