Williamson County is one of just two counties statewide to achieve distinction recognizing above-and-beyond service to residents.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The Williamson County Tax Assessor-Collector Larry Gaddes and his staff were recognized by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles for achieving Gold Level Recognition in their Performance Quality and Recognition Program, officials announced Friday.
The recognition was presented during the Williamson County Commissioners Court meeting on Tuesday, July 16. Williamson County is one of just two Texas counties to achieve the gold level in the program, officials noted with palpable pride.
The Performance Quality Recognition Program introduced in 2017 is designed to recognize county tax assessor-collectors that go above and beyond in complying with Texas laws, agency rules, and exceeding expected customer service, officials explained.
