WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — County offices will be closed for Veterans Day on Nov. 10, officials said. However, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be open during regular business hours on Friday from noon to 6 p.m., officials said. What's more, the shelter will be offering free adoptions for anyone wearing red, white and blue through the weekend for cats, dogs and kittens. For those not donning patriotic garb, the adoption fee is $25 and $75 for puppies.
