Williamson County Schedules Open House For Input On Planned Key Connector

Artery linking to Sam Houston Avenue at Patriot Way to SH 29 in central part of county is needed as key east-west connector.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — County officials will be hosting a public open house next week to gain public input into the Corridor C/SH 29 Bypass study.

The connector links Sam Houston Avenue at Patriot Way to SH 29 in central Williamson County. The meeting will be an open house format enabling attendees to come and go at their convenience. The purpose of the gathering is to gain insights from members of the public related to concerns or identifying constraints.

"Corridor C / SH 29 Bypass is needed for east-west connectivity due to projected growth," officials said. "The county wants to work closely with the community to plan a road that will meet their needs into the future. This study is one of several corridor studies the county is planning as part of the Williamson County Long-Range Transportation Plan. The county is planning a network of roadways that will foster safety and mobility county-wide."
