Williamson Tax Assessor Gaddes Tapped For Leadership Program
Texas Association of Counties taps Larry Gaddes to participate in 'Leadership 254' that aims to further develop leadership skills.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS — The Texas Association of Counties has selected Larry Gaddes, Williamson County’s Tax Assessor/Collector, to receive a scholarship and participate in next month's "Leadership 254" gathering that promotes professional development among county officials.
Gaddes's selection to participate in the program was announced Wednesday by county officials. The gathering is designed to advance the leadership skills of county officials to help them meet the unique challenges of their duties, officials described: "The program challenges and transforms participants into leaders who positively affect their counties and Texas," they noted.
County officials from across the state, representing every county office, are participating in the 2019-2020 Leadership 254 class, according to the notice. Participants will attend four training modules that last two to three days each over the course of 14 months, officials added, with the first module starting in February.

Participants’ tuition for the program is paid for by the Texas Association of Counties, which provides support and services to county officials aimed at more effectively serving their respective communities.
