World Language Center To Open In Cedar Park
Library and Rotary Club officials will dedicate space designed to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse and multilingual community.
CEDAR PARK, TX — The Cedar Park City Public Library, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Cedar Park-Leander, will dedicate the World Language Center at the Cedar Park Public Library this weekend, officials announced on Wednesday.
The dedication is scheduled to take place at the library, 550 Discovery Blvd., on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 9:30 a.m.
The World Language Center expands the library’s services and spaces to fulfill the needs of Cedar Park’s increasingly diverse and multilingual community, officials explained. In addition to providing reading materials for all ages in Spanish, Chinese, Hindi and Telugu, the library offers a dedicated space within its walls for people from all backgrounds to gather — offering a relaxed setting for independent work or group conversation and themed book displays from World Languages collections, officials detailed in a press advisory.
