Xplor Students in Leander Deliver Gifts to Local Seniors

Students visited The Legacy at Crystal Falls to hand out gifts, play board games, sing songs and enjoy treats with residents

On Jan. 2, students from Xplor Preschool & School Age Care on Crystal Falls Parkway in Leander paid a special visit to local seniors to spread holiday cheer. Students stopped by The Legacy at Crystal Falls, an assisted living and memory care facility, to deliver gifts they collected – including fuzzy socks, candy, sweaters, crossword puzzles and blankets – to fulfill the wishes of residents they “adopted” for the holidays. During their visit, students also played board games, sang songs and enjoyed treats with residents. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to the community and helping others.
