• NHS chapters make poppies for American Legion (katytimes.com) — Cinco Ranch High School NHS students are helping lead a community effort to make thousands of poppies for the American Legion Auxiliary to distribute on Veterans Day and Memorial Day. Working alongside peers from Jordan and Tompkins high schools, they're gathering weekly through October, honoring veterans while earning service hours and strengthening ties between Katy ISD and local veterans' groups.
