Join the George H.W. Bush Presidential Center on Friday, June 12, for a family-friendly celebration honoring the June birthdays of President George H.W. Bush and Mrs. Barbara Bush. The free public event will feature story hours with readings by local community figures, along with birthday cake and refreshments.
The Bush Birthday Celebration honors President and Mrs. Bush’s lasting legacies of service, education and civic engagement, including Mrs. Bush’s commitment to family literacy through the Barbara Bush Fund for Family Literacy at the George & Barbara Bush Foundation.
Guests are also encouraged to visit Daisy’s Table, located inside the James A. Baker, III Pavilion at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum, for a special menu item inspired by the Bushes’ favorite dish.
Attendees will also learn more about upcoming public programs happening at the Bush Presidential Library & Museum during Independence Day weekend as part of the nationwide America250 celebration.
