1,500 Attend Conroe ISD Hiring Fair

CONROE, TX — Over 1,500 candidates attended the 2018 Conroe ISD Job Fair that took place April 7, at The Woodlands College Park High School.

The annual job fair was open to individuals who are fully certified, have completed the Conroe ISD application, are Alternative Certification Program candidates who have taken and passed the TEXES content area test(s), current student teachers, and have registered for the Conroe ISD Professional Job Fair.

The candidates interacted with representatives from all 61 current Conroe ISD campuses, several departments as well as representatives from Clark Intermediate, Grand Oaks High School, and the Academy for Careers in Engineering and Science which will open this August.

In some cases, qualified candidates were interviewed on the spot.

The District plans to hire approximately 500 professional staff for the 2018-19 school year.

Up next, Conroe ISD will host its Auxiliary Job Fair on June 14 at The Woodlands College Park High School.
