2 Cousins Found Murdered In Home Stuns Tamina Community
Investigators found the bodies of two young men who'd been shot to death in their home, 3-year old daughter found unharmed

TAMINA, TX — The Tamina community is reeling after the shooting deaths of two young men at a home there on Thursday.
The bodies of Jaquise Williams, 23, and Akeem Russell, 24, were found inside a home in the 9600 block of Bimms Drive at about 9 a.m. by Montgomery County deputies who were conducting a welfare check of the two men.
Williams and Russell were cousins, and both lived at the home, officials said.

However, when family had not heard from the men for several days, the called deputies and asked that they check on the men.
When police they found one of the bodies in a back bedroom, and another on the porch, according to a KPRC report.

Investigators said a 3-year old girl, who was the daughter of one of the victims, was also found unharmed inside the home, and was taken to Montgomery County Children's Safe Harbor for a forensic interview, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Investigators still are not sure if the child witnessed the shooting.
Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are working with investigators with the Texas Rangers collected evidence at the scene, KPRC reported.
