20 Year Run Ends In Arrest Of Nevada Couple At Porter Gas Station

PORTER, TX — A man who spent more than 20 years on the lam with his wife after he allegedly impregnated his then 12-year old daughter in Nevada, was arrested by Montgomery County deputy constable’s.

Heraclio Gamez-Nava, 64, and his wife Alicia Vasquez-Carrizales, 55, ended their 23-year run at a Porter area gas station on Interstate 69 and FM 1314 on March 29 with they were arrested.

Authorities in Nevada issued a warrant for Gamez-Nava’s arrest in 1995 on charges of continuous sexual assault of a child under age 14.

Deputies said Vasquez-Carrizales gave deputies a false name for her when they were questioned, but an identification card found in the couple’s car revealed his identity, KTRK reported.

She was arrested and charged hindering apprehension of a known felon.

She is in the Montgomery County Jail with her bail amount set at $20,000.

Officials said since she is an undocumented immigrant, she will be turned over to immigration authorities and returned to her home country.

Officials said it will be the third time she has been deported since 2003.

Gamez-Nava, who had a fugitive from justice warrant when he was arrested is being held without bond and will extradited to Nevada where will face criminal charges.
