27 Arrested In Montgomery County Prostitution Sting Operation
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office was part of a Buyer Beware operation that made the arrests earlier this month.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office confirmed that its organized crime unit made 27 prostitution-related arrests earlier this month as part of Operation Buyer Beware.
The arrests took place April 13-14 with 26 men charged with Class B misdemeanor prostitution and another charged with promotion of prostitution, according to a press release.
Three of the men also were charged with possession of a controlled substance, one with possession of marijuana and a third with unlawful carry of a handgun. A warrant is out for a 28th person.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office teamed with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Houston Police Department and Shenandoah Police Department for the operation.
