4 Arrested Who Tried To Ambush Pizza Delivery Driver

CONROE, TX — Three men and a 16-year old boy who called a bogus pizza delivery so they could rob the driver, were arrested on Saturday.

Jonathan Gomez, 19, Brandon Ramirez, 19, Miguel Mares, 18, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested for the attempted aggravated robbery that was recorded on the driver’s cash-mounted camera.

The incident happened on April at about 2 p.m., when the Pizza Hut delivery driver arrived at a home in the 29500 block of Tanglewood Road in Magnolia.

When the driver knocked on the door, the door was answered by remote and the person who answered said a pizza was not ordered and told her to leave.

The driver left, and was traveling down Highland Blvd, she saw several men in a black Chevrolet Tahoe driving toward her, and eventually blocking off the road.

The driver put her car in reverse and sped off as she heard one of the men fire at her.

She drove back to Tanglewood Road, where she hid nearby and called police.

Gomez, Ramirez and Mares are in the Montgomery County Jail charged with aggravated robbery, with their bail amounts set at $100,000.

The 16-year old is being held at the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center.
