NEW CANEY, TX — A couple who witnesses said were trying to sell methamphetamine in Montgomery County, were arrested and charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Melissa Hardin, 44, and Christopher Mahaffey, 37, were arrested at their home in the 25800 block of Almarie in New Caney on Wednesday after deputy constable's executed a search warrant on the home.
