BrightStar Care, the nation's leading private duty home care and medical staffing franchise is opening a new location in Bryan/College Station, Texas. The office serves families across the Bryan and College Stations neighborhoods including Brenham, Caldwell, Hearne, Chapple Hill, Navasota, and Somerville. BrightStar Care of Bryan/College Station provides a higher standard of home care services including personal care, transitional care, Alzheimer’s & Dementia care, child care, senior care, and more.

This new office is owned by Jennifer Lewis who felt compelled to open a BrightStar Care location as the franchise was the perfect crossroads of her passions, helping those in need and owning her own business. Since high school, Jennifer dreamed of owning her own business, but after college, she sought a career in speech-language pathology. Jennifer worked in all aspects of medical speech-language pathology from treating patients in the NICU to the neuro ICU to working in rehabilitation units, and skilled nursing facilities she treated patients of all ages. After a fulfilling career in speech pathology, Jennifer, her husband, and her four children bought a ranch in Washington County, Texas and Jennifer sought out for her next career move and quickly learned about BrightStar Care and that her territory was available.

Jennifer recognized the high standard of care that BrightStar Care provides and the need for it in her community. She wanted to provide the comfort and affordability that home health care offers to families. Having worked in the health care industry for many years herself, Jennifer also knew how important BrightStar Care’s Joint Commission Accreditation was. Jennifer hopes to open a second satellite office to extend her services and would like to work closely with the veteran community in Texas.
