Here are the top stories today in Conroe-Montgomery County:
- Montgomery City Council heard two and a half hours of public comments at its Thursday meeting regarding food truck regulations and has come up with potential changes. The possible changes include removing a requirement that food trucks must be 50 feet from a street corner or sidewalk and adjusting times of operation. (Community Impact Newspaper)
- Three Montgomery children were reported missing in Sam Houston National Forest on Thursday night. The children were found safe Friday morning and returned to their families. (Conroe-Montgomery County Patch)
- A new ghost tour in downtown Conroe is a spooky treat for Halloween enthusiasts and those wanting to hear more about local ghost stories. (The Courier)
- The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival will feature a wide musical variety from Texas country to spicy Zydeco beats. The festival runs from Oct. 8-10. (The Courier)
- Conroe ISD Superintendent Curtis Null addressed school-related Tik-Tok challenges in an address to parents, asking that they caution their children about them. The Tik-Tok challenges vary from month to month but usually involve some form of illegal activity, such as stealing or damaging bathroom equipment. (Community Impact Newspaper)
