1. The City of Conroe announced the Conroe Hotel and Convention Center will break ground this month. The $98 million facility is expected to open in the second quarter of 2023. (Spring Happenings)
2. Labor Day weekend brought with it another all-time high in active COVID-19 cases for Montgomery County. Active cases have skyrocketed since June 30, when COVID-19 metrics were the lowest since summer 2020. (Community Impact Newspaper)
