Conroe ISD Names Curtis Null New Superintendent

Curtis Null will become the 14th Conroe ISD superintendent, placing the retiring Don Stockton, who has served since 2003

CONROE,TX — As expected, the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees named Curtis Null as the districts new superintendent.

Null, who serves as deputy superintendent, was named the lone finalist by the board of trustees on March 20 to replace the retiring Don Stockton.

Dr. Stockton will conclude his 15-year tenure as superintendent on June 1 after serving 32 of his 34 years in education in Conroe ISD.

The board of trustees cast their unanimous votes for Null in open session Tuesday night to make him the 14th Conroe ISD Superintendent.

Null has worn a number of hats in Conoe ISD, including assistant superintendent for secondary education in Conroe ISD and principal of Conroe High School.

Null will officially assume his duties as superintendent on June 4.
