Former Daycare Director Accused Of Stealing $20,000 from Church
Woman who faces charges of felony theft is currently free on bond.

MONTGOMERY, TX -- A Montgomery woman is facing felony theft charges after she was accused of stealing approximately $20,000 from her former employer.
Denise Sarver, who was formerly the director for Tomorrow's Promise Preschool, at the Montgomery United Methodist Church, was arrested March 2.

Sarver, who worked in her position at Tomorrow’s Promise from 2009 until 2015, left to start her own daycare, which closed in January.
According to investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the theft was discovered by church officials who were reintegrating the daycare account into the general church budget.
