Four Montgomery County Men Facing Felony Charges In BB Gun Shooting Spree

The men are accused of shooting at cars, people, and businesses with BB guns, and could faces additional charges, police said.

WILLIS, TX -- Four men are facing felony criminal mischief charges after they went on a shooting spree with a BB Gun on Jan. 6

Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to numerous complaints of property damage in the Shadow Bay and the Enchanted Waters neighborhoods, and to a report of windows being shot out at Lakeside Liquor on FM 1097 at Long Street.

While most didn’t involve anyone directly, when the windows of the Lakeside Liquor store were shot out, employees were still inside.

“It sounded like dynamite," Debbie Johnson, Lakeside Liquor manager, told KPRC. "We hit the floor, I pushed the panic button while she (a co-worker) was on the phone with 911."

During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested Christopher Collins, Devin Leal, Tyler Cunningham and Marcus Paiz, who are facing felony criminal mischief charges.

Collins, Leal and Paiz, all 17-years old, have since been released on bond.

Cunningham, 17, remains in confinement.

Meanwhile, investigators said the BB guns used were found at a home in Willis, Texas.

The Willis Police said it will add charges involving 10 additional criminal mischief reports and an assault report.

The case is under investigation.
