Home Depot, Lowe’s: Hardware Stores Open On Labor Day Near Conroe

CONROE-MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Whether it’s preparing for the start of a fall project or wrapping up a summer one, Labor Day weekend in Montgomery County is sure to be a popular time to get some stuff done around the house.

Many home improvement and hardware stores in and around Montgomery County know this, as nearly all will be open for either regular or extended hours during the end-of-summer three-day weekend.

An exception is locally owned J&B True Value Hardware, which will be closed Monday to observe the holiday.

Home Depot stores will be open, encouraging homeowners to take on backyard projects before temperatures start dropping. The Atlanta-based national home improvement store chain has sales posted on its website, and offers tips on starting do-it-yourself fall projects. (Summer doesn’t actually end until Sept. 22).
