Investigators Find Body In Trash Near Burned Home
Montgomery County investigators believe the body is that of 37-year old Jason Gilbert, who lived at the home with another man.
PATTON VILLAGE, TX — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fire that destroyed a home in Patton Village after a body was found in a trash can near the home on Thursday.

The fire was reported on Wednesday on South Lakeview Drive in Patton Village, and was empty at the time of the fire.

During the investigation, investigators found the body in a trash can near the home, according to a KTRK report.
Investigators said both Phillips and Gilbert were seen at the home in the hours before the fire, KPRC reported.
