LSC-Montgomery Late Start Classes Program Helps Students Stay On Education Track

CONROE – The devastation left in Hurricane Harvey’s wake has impacted students, their families and the start school year, but Lone Star College-Montgomery is doing everything it can to help students stay enrolled or get the courses they need to achieve educational goals. One great alternative is the Late Start Classes Program

There are many late start class alternatives students can add. These classes have start dates beginning in late September through October to help custom fit complicated schedules. Day by day recovery after the storm is touch and go and enrollment in these courses is flexible. As long as there are spaces available students can register for these eight- to 14-week online or in-person courses right up to the first day of class.

Just like traditional courses, Late Start classes help students achieve academic goals set toward workforce certificates, associate’s degrees, or university transfer.

This fall, LSC-Montgomery offers Late Start courses in the following program areas:

• Business Management
• Computer Information Technology
• Economics
• Government
• Health Information Technology
• History
• Interactive Media
• Land Surveying
• Marketing
